Love this so much better than loud alarm. I was lucky to get this at goodwill for 5 bucks as they did not know what they had

I own this. It's not even plugged in right now. No it doesn't work with Alexa. It's not connected in anyway to anything. It is just a normal alarm clock that has a light the slowly brightens. It does what it's supposed to do well. I'm a heavy sleeper and it helped a little bit, but honestly I don't think it's worth it.

It gets tons of great reviews though. Just sharing another perspective.

I bought this two years ago. It can wake me up only if I am facing the alarm. I setup sunrise simulation on smartthings to turn on all lights in my bedroom. It works much better.

Bought one last time they showed up on sale. Do any of you have issues with it not responding to touch to sleep the alarm? And then sometimes it will sleep itself despite not being touched, alarm goes off maybe 30 seconds then sleeps and repeats.

Maybe with a smart plug?
If no one answers, I'll test it when mine arrives...

I'll second this. Got it as a gift. Light doesn't really do anything for me, and coming from phone alarms, it woke me up early one too many weekends (since you can't program alarms for certain days) so it got unplugged.

Also, maybe I just didn't read the directions correctly or something, but the only way I could see to stop the alarm completely and not just snooze was to turn it off then remember to turn it back on again before the next morning. I may be wrong on that though.

I own and like this alarm clock but there are a couple of major shortcomings (especially for the cost). For one, there is no battery backup. Seriously. Also, you cannot program times for days of the week(like every weekday wake me up at x time, but on the weekends wake me up at y time). Also, you cannot completely turn off the digital display at night and it is definitely brighter than I'd prefer. If you are sensitive to light at night like I am you will probably have to cover this up like I do in order to sleep. On the plus side it gets way brighter than other ones I tried and I definitely wake up feeling more refreshed using this clock. For the money, the things I mentioned are inexcusable, but it is still the best option out there right now.

Tell that to people that buys $1k phone.. Oh I'll pay you $60 to open my curtain every morning! But I will only pay you once the same like I only buy the alarm clock once for $75.
