Tenda Nova MW6 (3-pack) Mesh WiFi System - $130 + FS @ Amazon

Low introductory price on this recently release mesh wifi system (regularly $199). Skimmed through this [smallnetbuilder.com]review and it actually bests Google WiFi by some metrics. Might be worth a shot at this price.

Curious why all the TD? Other than of course, Tenda is a Chinese company and security concerns.

Filter the amazon reviews specific to the product. It's either 5 star or 1 star... and many say limited customer support. It's pretty clear there are probably still bugs with it. For those who are patient, this is probably a good deal based on specs.

I'm taking a shot on them. I've had other Tenda routers in the past with no issues. Typically complaints I've seen are people that don't understand how to set them up.

I had a Tenda in the past but it was flash able to ddwrt which was rock solid. The tenda firmware however was grossly buggy and limited functionality. If somehow these are flash able in the future, might be something to look forward to.

I don't think ddwrt is meant for mesh routers
