I hope they got those 940mx for super f'n cheap because the 150mx has been out for longer than the CPU they put in there— no other reason to have picked it.

If you are not a gamer, are you likely to care about the 940mx? I want something to present with PowerPoint, surf web, watch occasional movie or show streaming and general office tasks. This seems like it would more than fit the bill. Also, what do you guys think of battery life?

940mx may not be great for gamers, but it should help accelerate other tasks, such as video editing. Also, it has its own dedicated 2GB memory unlike the integrated graphics that take away part of the main memory.

Would this 940MX work great with NX siemens its a 3D modeling program for mechanical engineers and i dont do any gaming just want it to work for my engineering programs
