Great reviews on Amazon. Do I need to be BJ's member to buy?

I'm not an expert on audio, but what is the point of a record player with Bluetooth ? I get convenience, but why would anyone with a vinyl collection and bought into the ritual of listening to records care about convenience?

Yes, I don't know if the seller is an authorized dealer, but they have been about $400 from third party dealers for awhile.

To me Bluetooth provides the ability to use the speakers for music beyond what is in your vinyl collection. Is it necessary? No. But it's nice to have

It's a misleading title, the speakers have Bluetooth not the turntable. You still have to physically connect the turntable to the speakers. The Bluetooth on the speakers is just there for when you want to listen from your phone or other device.

Bluetooth turntable do exist though and I'm completely with you on that one.

The record player doesn't have Bluetooth; the speakers do. It serves the same purpose as having analog auxiliary, optical digital, and USB inputs. Not everyone has their entire audio collection on vinyl.

I use these and a sub as my primary home sound system. RCA input for records, aux for Alexa, digital for TV, and Bluetooth for friends/guests to play their music. It's a great setup, WAY better sound quality than a soundbar, without the bulk of a traditional receiver system.

When did Klipsch start slapping their name on turntables?

Ugh, I am getting old. I remember when Klipsch only sold hand made speakers with real wood veneers built in Hope AR.

It's just an entry level turntable from Pro-ject with the Klipsch logo on it. It's not actually a Klipsch turntable.

On a plus note, while Klipsch has started making a lot cheap stuff, at least they do still make their flagship stuff in Hope, AR. I went to the annual pilgrimage to Hope last year and toured the factory. It was a lot of fun.

That sounds fun! I haven't kept up and just assumed everything was made across the Pacific somewhere.

I am still enjoying my Forte's from around '85 or '86. I briefly worked for a small Klipsch dealer and ordered a pair via employee purchase plan. Back then two people physically inspected and signed off on every pair before boxing them up. At the time you could request that Paul W. Klipsch himself do the final sign off. Obviously I did. Smilie

I don't think the turntable is included at $405
