Must have been a slight price mistake 15 minutes ago. Picked it up new, shipped from Amazon, for $14.25

Yep, same here. I saw the used, "like new" one available, but for a dollar more, I'll take a new one thanks. Didn't want to risk any missing pieces like has happened to me before.

fark my 34-piece for $20 just arrived

edit:
Apparently the consensus is that the dewalt set is much better in quality. And I just compared the socket sizes (regardless of drive) and the difference is that the dewalt 34-piece set has one less socket size (11/36 in), so I can definitely live with this.

Same brand? I own these. They work but they are far from good. Nothing compared to my dewalt set that's similar. I only paid a lot more for the dewalt set on sale.

Yeah it is the dewalt set. Don't they have the same parent company though?

Stanley build quality not even close, your 34 piece DeWalt set is light-years better (own 2 sets).

No, you need a dedicated spark plug socket.

Idk if they are the parent company. You'll notice the quality difference. I've collected a lot of tools. They have to be above average for me to even consider picking them up. I almost brought that dewalt set you have. It would nice to have a smaller set in the car. I have a hitch for my bike rake. I'm always working with wrenches.

Here is my Stanley set. It's different from the one here.

Why would they make the case so large? Those sockets are taking up twice as much space as needed. I guess if it looks bigger on the shelf it will sell better.
