I hate when these damn manufacturers only put 3 damn HDMI inputs into a big screen 4K Smart TV. LG did the same with my OLED65C6P, yet I have 7 HDMI devices. PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One S, Xfinity X1 HD DVR cable box, Roku Premiere+ box, Chromecast Ultra & soon an NVIDIA Shield TV Console which will make 8.

These 65" 4K HDR Smart TVs need to have at least 6 if not 8 HDMI 2.0a (HDCP 2.2) ports. I mean come on, 3 really, that's just not even close to being enough. I know I could get an HDMI splitter/switcher, but it's really hard to find one that's a legit 4K HDR@60fps HDMI 2.0a with 3D capabilities.

And I know I could just buy a 4K AV receiver, but I just don't have that kind of money right now.
But you have enough money for all the other toys LMAO What a great idea. Have everyone else pay for extra HDMI ports that they will never use Applause

Are the other posts for curved 6500 and 7500 the better deal?

Idk about 7 or 8 HDMI ports but I wouldn't mind if 4 were the standard. There are so many different devices these days it's easy to fill them up fast. I'm surprised so many models only have 3.

I didn't buy them all over night of course. It took me years to aquire all these toys. Also, it took me almost 2-years to save up for my OLED. I believe most people would disagree with you on wanting more HDMI ports & how exactly are other people gonna pay for them?
If that was really the case, TV manufactures would be adding more, strictly based on demand. Adding HDMI ports does not come for free in terms of cost and real estate. In the end, your scenario is an *extreme* case. And yes, I have lots of toys, but the new ones replace the old, which I either put on other TVs or give away to family Wink

You can combine those gaming systems. I doubt you're switching back and forth every day or every other day.

This is your answer. I got a denon 4300 last year for $576 an absolute steal! It produces a better signal through its 4k processor than when i run something directly to the tv. I understand this means, at minimum, another $600 but if you're into this much electronics it's definitely something you should look at

This one works fine with HDCP 2.2. I'm using it and am getting HDR with it just fine on my Vizio.
