Note: This is pretty much the same deal I posted yesterday, except this one isn't part of the Member Purchase Program, so the $200 Slickdeals rebate should apply (I think)

Can we get confirmation this one would work? It would be stacking the slickdeals rebate on top of the presidents day sale.

On the top left corner it says "shop for home" instead of "for home".

How does the $200 rebate work.... does it come off the purchase price or is it refunded to you after your purchase (at $1,499.00) or is it full price with $200 for future use on Slickdeals....
1st timer,
I apologize in advance

The rebate would be after the purchase. So you'd pay whatever the price of the desktop is, plus tax, then the rebate would come in the mail as some type of pre-paid debit card (or if you're lucky a check). The process can take like 3 months.

Dell also has a Alienware Aurora for $1,399. It has no rebate, but the case is better and looks like it would allow better airflow for sure. Specs seem to be the same :/ I did a quick glance, there are probably slight differences.

Is this XPS worth buying with the rebate or should I hold out for a better deal? I really like that this offers a 1070 with 8GB! Not some lower end 1060 3GB like a lot I have been seeing.

That rebate is on anything from Dell Home I believe. As long as the Alienware is sold through the home store and not the MPP, then you should still be able to get the rebate on it as well.

Thanks for the heads up, but I think I'm going to go with the Costco in store deal.
