I've had this 2 years and the faux leather has ripped at the seams. And I was sitting in this maybe 10 hours a week tops.

Was just going to run to Staples to pick one up but found it on Amazon with pretty bad reviews.

For a cheap chair they all suck, these chairs are 6 to 12 month replacement chairs, buy, trash, repeat

Looking for a good chair for the home office... Disappointed in the bad reviews here. Any advice?

I've bought one like 3 years ago for around this price, and after like 6+ months its started to peel, crack which will stick on your skin or get scattered around your house. I put some cover on mine like towels etc to lessen the peeling. I'm in a market for a mesh chair now and when I find one I'll throw away this chair.

Wondering what mesh ones you considering - I prefer the ones with mesh on bottom as they spread weight well / have fewer pressure points.

So far I've been keeping eye on the $99 one at Costco or the Staples Hyken (occasional sales).

I am 5' 11" male 220lbs with a herniated disk problem. I spend 6-8 hours a day on the chair, more on weekends. Can someone suggest a good chair please? Having a nice tilt is important.

Exactly, all of these 'big box' office chairs suck.
Go with a corporate solution like Herman Miller or SteelCase. I've had an Aeron for years and just picked up some Leap V2s (from madisonseating or buy off ebay too) for $350 each. Definitely prefer the new leaps. These commercial chairs will last 10 years easily and help you sit properly with all the adjustments.
