Be careful buying too many size 1 diapers. My cousin had a baby the same time as my wife and her little guy was in size 2 before he was a month old and was in size 3 at 3 months. Also remember to leave the hospital with all the diapers in your room since you've basically already been charged for them.

Don't feel bad about asking for extra diapers, pacifiers, wipes etc. I was a Mother Baby/Labor Delivery nurse for 2 years and always stocked people up. The formula, pacifiers, diapers and wipes were given to our hospital as promotions. The more we gave out, the more they restocked us!
But there will be those nurses that are like No... But, ask, especially those pacifiers! LoL Maybe ask the tech/nurse assistant.

You should have got five size ones or four ones and one two.... You won't be using those size three diapers until this time next year

Our youngest was almost too big for the newborn diapers at birth. You never know what you'll need.

I bought these from Amazon last time around and they have a pretty strong smell to them. Kind of like baby powder but worse. They haven't leaked or anything or I guess It's worth it. Also these don't seem to have an indicator when the baby's peed which probably affects brand new parents more. I would rather use Aldi diapers which are around 8 cents per diaper for size 1 regular price, but these are generally fine too.
