Wide angle lenses are pretty easy to focus, on this one anything over 8 feet away is infinity focus so you should be able to set it up pretty quickly.

This is a good price. Sony E mount looks to be only $10 more than previous deal. This is still a very good price for this lens. Amazon has same price but tax will apply to most orders.

Nice! Bought one for Sony. I always wanted to practice on astrophotography.

I purchased this at this price before from amazon, it didn't seem like a crazy good deal. Returned it bc I couldn't figure out manual focus. Hated not being able to just pass the camera to someone else to get a shot.

Watch for quality issues on this lens. I tried two copies and had minor issues with decentered lens elements. Ended up returning for a refund.

Samyang/Rokinon is a low-cost manufacturer. Expect to get what you pay for. They're good if you get a solid copy. But QC is hit or miss. It may take a few tries to get a good one.

E mount is coming up as $340 for me. Which means there's no reason to buy that lens over the Canon one, even if it's for an E mount body. Just get yourself an EF-to-E adapter for $15 and you're set.

I love this lens, even though distortion around the corner is ridiculous, which can be corrected by software. And then price is right.

But this price version doesn't have AE chip, so you need to understand it will be full manual lens before ordering it. In general, I don't recommend no AE version unless you are using EVF camera or for astrophotography.

I chose Irix 15mm lens last summer instead which accepts filters. No regrets for $399 (sure almost double the price but solid lens).

Can anyone speak on this for real estate photography? Looking for a wide angle for tight/small rooms and I'm new in the field.

Thanks in advance!

You're better off getting a Panasonic 14mm f/2.5 at this price point on a MFT
