AMEX Gold 50,000 sign up points

Targeted offer by AMEX. Sign up for Gold AMEX and get 50,000 points after you spend $2k in the first 3 months. $195 annual fee waived the first year!

I got the offer by logging into my AMEX account. Points can be used for travel, gift cards, hotels and much more!

I closed my Gold card 2 years ago and just resigned up. Still was able to get 50,000 points.

Good luck!

In case anyone needs to know what in the world 50K points actually amounts to...

If anyone wants to calculate what 50K points are worth, it'll be between $250-$500. $300 if you use it to pay a balance on your card.

Here's a handy calculator:

Could be worth $1000+ in airline tickets too, or $625 into your IRA with a Schwab Platinum card.

I think you are confusing the Gold card with Preferred Rewards Gold

Unless you're targeted, Amex restricts one signup bonus per product forever. So if you've has the same card, it doesnt matter if it's been 2 years, you wont get the signup bonus for the same product.

Anywhere from $250 to up many thousands of dollars- depending on how/what you use them for.

Couple years ago for example we got plane tickets that were around $3200 cash price for 50k.

If you just want to liquidate it into money you'll get nearer the $250, maybe $500 if you're ok taking it as gift cards instead of cash.

"Couple years ago" examples may not be relevant today.

if it's targeted, it won't have the restrictive language.

I disagree. I got invitation for Amex delta card again after my signup around 2 yrs back. I got 50K point again. This is strictly invitation basis but its possible.
