I just came back from my local gamestop.

I just traded my xbox one OG for $150 and Xbox one S 500gb $150 (today is the last day of the trade in promo by the way).

I was getting the Xbox one X today, but he told me to wait until tomorrow, 2/20, because gamestop will run a good deal:

$500 for xbox one X + free $50 gift card + Free PUBG code (printed in the receipt) and a free $60 game of your choice. That is a great deal, considering you can also trade in the new game back to GS and make the Xbox one X even cheaper.

so if you are in the market for one, just wait a bit longer.

Man thats a tempting deal. I really would like one but much prefer just money off vs free things i don't really need.

Early adoption is always a mistake but I wasn't touching my Xbox One S and after I got the Xbox One X I started playing Xbox all the time again. It's definitely a great upgrade.

I don't think it allows for preorders.

Interesting...

I quit pc gaming in 2013 with a 780 Ti, picked up a One S last year, but haven't played too much. I have been thinking it might be because some of these MP games like Battlefield 1 have such low detail I can't really make sense of anything.

But Forza 7, I'm pretty happy with...tho it's still a little less detail barn what I was used to 4 years ago in PC.

Is it he details from the extra GPU horsepower?

Honestly I have a GTX 1080 Ti and I play my Xbox One X more. I prefer the couch to the office chair and I prefer my bigger 4K TV to my 4K monitor. The detail can be seen even in games like COD WW2 and Star Wars Battlefront looks jaw dropping on it. I don't think Battlefield got an Xbox One X update but I haven't taken it out of the wrapping yet.

I also have a PS4 Pro and the Xbox One X actually feels like a 4K console while the Pro is a 1440p console imo.

Overall I recommend it if you are into graphics and have a 4K TV.
