I debated between the two and have been doing some research on both the 750 and the 7500. I ended up pulling the trigger on the 750 for the following reasons:

1. I've wanted to try full-frame due to its said advantages, low light, wide angle - all due to bigger sensor.
2. Two of my 3 lenses are compatible with the full-frame format. The one that is not is not that good anyway.

I think it really depends. The 7500 seems to be a fantastic camera with some huge improvements being made using a crop sensor. If folks have crop lenses only, then the upgrade to full frame means an additional expense (or two, or three) in buying full frame lenses, which are also expensive.

I spoke to a few co-workers who upgraded from crop to full frame and that convinced me to give it a go. I will still need to buy a lens for my wide angle shoots but I knew that when I pulled the trigger so I know I will need to spend some $$ going into that decision.

I think both are great deals and I dont think you could go wrong either way. It's just how much investment you are willing to do once the body is bought.

I was talking about comparing to D7500 in the title at the comparable price, OTOH D750 is not better either

Bought D800 full frame for $800 wit grip OFF ebay. if it was 4k it would be a perfect camera. If i go for 4k now it would be DX but i wanted full frame. For full frame plus 4k its out of my budget.

I think the 7200 was a better camera, I've had most Nikon DX bodies but I'm just an amateur.
