They aren't even on sale. It's 10% off any tool right now...

And so sad craftsman screwdrives no longer are made in USA. Collector's items now I suppose...

Craftsman - Made in USA were falling apart too. So, no love lost there. Just look at there torque wrenches.

Having said that, this particular set was great. One of the best sets out there. Too bad they are never in stock for shipping and or pickup. Seems to be a regional product.

It is discontinued like a great deal of their catalog. These used to be available in every store or shipping. I got several sets of them years ago when they were on sale without a problem. So cheap and reasonable high quality I wish I bought more sets but too late now.

I know. I get a feeling this selective (regional) sales are a slow moving close out sale going on. A bad feeling that Sears is about to belly up. Must use some gift cards.

Sears was the only reliable tools store with some decent tools that we could hop in and get without worrying about quality. I am really not sure how I get my tool fix if they go belly up.

Both Husky (Home Depot Brand) and Kobalt (Lowes brand) have been nothing but a disappointment. Might as well go with Pittsburgh (Harbor Freight brand) just to save money.

Craftsman has been so good me. I feel and see the slow bleed.

Now you have me worried that I might need to load up on some tool backups.

Pittsburgh Pro tools are not half bad (for the money), in my own experience.
