Appliances for Kitchen Remodel

Looking for ideas on how to get some good appliances and save some cash while doing so.

Currently in need of a Fridge (36in), gas stove, dishwasher and range hood (chimney type). We are looking at the GE Cafe series right now.

The best deal i'm finding is through a EPP with GE. Here is the site: https://www.myapstore.com/GEStore/

The current pricing looks like this:

Fridge:
Model# CWE23SSHSS $2049.70

Stove:
Model# CGS986SELSS $1,983.55

Dishwasher:
Model# CDT865SSJSS $1,012.09

and the Hood, which is not Cafe Series, but i'm flexible on that anyway.

Model# JVW5301SJSS $359.96

We are kind of set on the GE Cafe series or equivalent. We are looking for something that will last some time, but we don't need anything professional like Wolf or Sub Zero. On the other hand, i don't want anything that will break quick and not last long at the same time so budget models are probably out.

If anyone could assist in how to get a great deal on GE or even appliances as a whole it would be appreciated. Of course, feedback is welcome on the model choices too. Right now the pricing is saving me about 2 grand vs a local appliance store and also about 1500 vs Lowes.

Thanks!!!!!

The only discount I know of is to generate a Lowe's 10% off coupon or have a veteran/active duty military person buy it at Lowes.

There are rebates on Cafe Series if you buy 4 appliances. $1500 it looks like. http://www.geappliances.com/ge/re...fe-rebate/

Thanks for the tips. This actually comes in about $2000 cheaper than Lowe's or Home Depot with my military discount. So I'm thinking this is the best deal, but wanted to check with the experts

The sears outlet has your fridge for $1394 in Tucker, GA, but how are you coming up with these prices? The rebates can be used with any retailer I believe.

Bahaha, not that place. This is straight from GE through perksatwork.com. My employer gives me access to perksatwork and then i go through that to the GE site and use an access code. It's like a promo code kind of.
