Dang... I've made my own welder extension cord before, and it cost me more than this in parts alone... Good deal.

CAUTION: the picture shows what looks like your normal 5-15P /5-15R but its hard to tell the scale: it's actually a 6-50 (much bigger in size) so this cord cant be used for any "normal plug" devices.

That's what I was about to say. Oh well, there's always the pride of making it yourself.

You don't know what you are talking about.

That is a proper NEMA 6-50 plug. It's huge in real life compared to a similar "normal" house hold plug 5-15. You can also tell its 6-50 because the larger blade is on the right side.

Coleman makes good stuff. I bought one of their cables a decade ago, and even after being dragged through and left out in pretty much every possible thing you could imagine, it still looks almost brand new. Don't worry about the quality here.

Sounds like joebob knows what he's talking about to me.

Thats all I said. People sometimes buy from Amazon based on pic alone (see the first question in the item, lol). At a glance it looks like a normal 5-15 but it's not.

I bought this in November '17 for $74. It is a very nice quality cable. Cheaper to buy this than to make one.

Ditto, bought back when it was $58. Great price and works perfectly.
