If you can score one at local Walgreens for 37.99 and use 20 off manufacturers coupon, it's better.

They are on clearance, download Walgreens app, it will show if the location has them in stock (YMMV but it is quite reliable) then even if it shows 149.99 take it to the cashier, once they scan it, the price goes down to 37.99. Print the coupon, most stores will not accept coupons on your phone.
YMMV but if you are nice and persistent, the manager will likely accept the coupon. I dont think they have any legitimate reason to deny the coupon but every store is different and it is up to the manager on the floor.

Hope this helps.

Definitely worth checking your local Walgreens and Targets first as there are better deals on better models but YMMV. This is definitely a decent pickup if you're just trying to snag something quick.

The Sonicare 3 just went down to an all time low on Amazon as well. Not the best price in the world, but the best price it's been on Amazon ($49.99): https://www.amazon.com/Philips-So...B00QZ67T3O

I have a family of 5. Is it practical to share two power units and just swap the heads? Or will that be a PITA?

My wife and I have tried it with our 1st electric toothbrush and it didn't work for us. But it all depends.

No... you'll wear the top mount of the brush out with twice daily swaps and cause water to leak into the chassis too soon. It happens eventually anyways but more like every 2.5 to 3 years without constantly removing the brush heads.
