Costco sells the KPRA. Took a photo of it when I was in-store last week as I wanted to compare to online prices.

Maybe someone who has more info can clarify, but based on what I've read here and in reddit, KSMPRA is newer version (2016 model vs 2000 model) and has updated stainless steel components. Based on the following:

What I've been able to gather based on Amazon description:

KPRA: sold since 2000. All metal housing

KSMPRA: sold since 2016. "Commercial style stainless steel" housing.

KPRA - is the old model, released n years ago. has a oblong end cap, more galvanized carbon steel parts, should be built by Marcato Atlas in Italy
KSMPRA - a new model, released in ~ 2015, has a kind-of oval end cap. slightly bigger than KPRA, more stainless parts, built also in Italy.

If this post is for the new version, I recommend.
Edit: picture is the older version pasta roller. The white trip under the roller just keeps catching dough and break. They got rid of those two white strips on the new design.

Word to the wise: DO NOT SUBMERGE!

It says it right on the edge...but my wife and I are competing for a Darwin Award!

This set has dipped to around $110 - $120 on Amazon the past year or so.

Also, if you're going to make pasta...look into semolina and 00 flour.

Good advice. Do not ever get this set wet. You do not have to clean the set after, per se, simply because the only ingredients you should be using are dry. The included brush is what you should use to do a quick sweep after every use.

That is the old version KPRA. I brought one last year and returned. They are slightly different in design, I personally like the newer version. The old version has a all metal roller from what I can see, but I don't like the metal roller rubbing on the frame. The newer version have a plastic washer (pad?) -ish thing on two ends of the roller.
