Acer Predator X34P UltraWide QHD Curved Monitor - X34 Pbmiphzx - $934.99 @ Acer Store-USA

Acer Store-USA has the newly released Predator X34P listed at $1,099.99 when combined with Acers Presidents Day Sale which has "15% Off Purchases $900 or more and Free Shipping" it brings it down to $934.99 !!

This means the NEW Predator X34P is currently CHEAPER than the original X34($999.99).

The Presidents Day Promo will ONLY apply to the X34P.

Acers website says the Predator line of products is excluded from the deal on the front page but see what happens when you add it to your cart... Voila! Enjoy.

I attempted it with other Predator products and this is the only one that it applies to... Get it while you can, hopefully it's not a glitch and it goes away now that I've brought attention to it.

EXPIRES 2/21/18 at 11:59 CST

I already ordered mine... Happy Presidents Day!!

UPDATE 4:10 PM EST

It appears this thread did catch the attention of Acers team and they have since corrected their oversight with the X34P. Now all Predator monitors are excluded from the Presidents Day sale. Sorry everyone, hope you were able to take advantage of it while you could.

Alienware AW3418DW was $899. They has the almost the identical specs. I'm tempted to get the refurbished X34 for 729 plus tax. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't risk it. Refurbished monitor are ones probably returned for BLB and other defects more then likely. It is something not really fixable. I brought a refurb Acer before and it had terrible BLB. I had to send it back.

4k 32" standard vs 144mhz 34" ultrawide if it's for both work and play?

Much to benefit while getting work done on an ultrawide 21:9. You won't go back to 16:9.

The Dell will have a better warranty (3 year advanced exchange) but both the X34P & AW will have the same panel. I would not go with the refurb for both the 90 day warranty and older panel (larger bezel, more back light bleed, 60hz standard with 100 hz overclock).

3440 is a cock tease.

Just go to 3840 so it is equivalent to two monitors side by side and drop down to x1200

X1440 is nice, but not at the expense of not getting two full size monitors side by side.

I got the refurb about a month ago. Perfect unit, no significant blb, no dead pixels. Great condition and very happy

fwiw, I'm coming from the Asus q34 (kid broke), and I actually prefer the Acer because of the sleeker stand and better RGB setup. panels are the same

I am also considering getting a 38-inch instead of 34. Have you used both? I like 3840*1600 would be awesome.

I own this monitor. It's known of but still under the radar. Only 1 real review out there and it's not the best. I can vouch as a long time gamer coming from a regular 24" IPS panel the experience is surreal.

The only more-immersive experience you will find would be VR. Seriously, 34" 1800r curve at 1440p is incredible, just make sure you have a 1080 or greater to take advantage of the specs.

Tons of options, great LED's, also of note it's 8Bit+FRC which is pseudo-10bit...something the Dell AW does not have. Read a lot of negative comments about the Dell and multiple panel send-backs from people on various forums. I took the chance on the Acer and it's a beautiful piece of crafted tech, amazing and worth the insane price tag.

Currently playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance on this bad boy and....wow...just wow. Changed gaming forever.

Send any questions to know more specifics.

21:9 is never two 16:9 side by side no matter what the resolution is. 3840*1600 is nicer but this 3440*1440 panel supports higher refresh rate with Gsync so it might be a better choice for gamers.
