May be clippers are more smoother/softer than the regular one.

In for one, gonna use it on my dogs. Quiet operation plus ceramic blades make it similar to grooming clippers so worth a try @ 25 bucks.

Hmm, this might not be that good...it uses only one AA battery which means it'll be a weaker motor than other with lithium ion batteries.
