BB deal was best by far. Flipped the VR for 250. Got the desktop for less than 500

Not bad... The 570 is a notch below a 1060 3gb.

The 1400 is also a decent CPU, and the motherboard MIGHT support updating to any new Ryzen cpus until 2020. But.. being a pre-built who knows what they throw in there.

The new cpu's will all be AM4 until 2020. For example Ryzen 3, 5, and 7 all came out as AM4. And now the new cpu's with integrated graphics are also AM4 meaning you can upgrade to them even though they are new.

Unlike Intel where even if the socket is the same the motherboard might have the wrong chipset... And Intel mobos are more expensive usually... I'm just saying. With gpu's at the ungodly price they are, building a 2400g rig and waiting out the prices might be the best deal..

Or, gpu pricing will never settle down, like memory and SSD prices... 4 years ago they were half what they are now. For the same exact product. That's exaggerated but whatever!

It's like RS3 Archer rings... Those will never go back up in price. All because Jagex messed up!

Ok. I'm done.

It would be a bit overkill. There was a deal on an a10-9700 system a couple days ago, that would be closer to ur use case.

How well can this handle world of warcraft? Are we talking high settings or can it run smoothly on ultra?

On max settings it should run smoothly on 2560x1440. Tone the settings down and you could run at 4k.
