I have had this phone since the Walmart deal and I have been extremely pleased with it. The speakers suck but the battery life is quite good. I can usually get a whole day on a single charge and I use my phone constantly. The camera is decent and you can use this with one hand.

Why the negative?

I read recently that with Google's new language in Android licensing, Amazon can no longer offer "lock screen offers" phones anymore.

Specs look good but I had Moto X's screen slowly fail within 1.5 yrs of use. My Samsung S7 Edge (which was released about 6 mo. after Moto X) is still going strong and it has been right around 2 years. (knock on woods) at this point. Not seeing much reason to swap to S9 (Skipped S8). MAY consider waiting for Note 9.

Considering I can buy like 4 of these for the price of one flagship phone, I'll take the risk of the screen going bad in 1.5 years

I have this phone, and gave it a TU. The TD are probably because the price is not super slick. It's a typical "good" price, for a cheap (but decent) phone.

Yes the price is not too slick compare to past deals. If it were the true unlocked version this would be slick. This phone version is still tied to Amazon software and locked to their system.
I.E. If you don't sign into Amazon app on the phone it will keep nagging you.

Also the 32GB version has dropped to $210 everywhere now as the regular price, so there may be better offers on that soon, too.
