Last day of presidents day 13% off with coupon 13Poweredge

Several stocks of the T30 at $300 with Quad Xeon 1225 and 8gb/1tb. After coupon mine was $260+tax.

I've never had a problem with Outlet purchases, so $40 off of the latest hot price seems reasonable to me.

That's pretty good. I've gotten this config from the Outlet for as low as $250, so this isn't bad.

All the T30's from the Outlet I've received looked (and probably were) brand new. Especially when you buy the config that shows many in stock, instead of just one.

FYI, if using for PLEX, I was really bummed last time I missed this deal. I then researched and found a build myself solution at half the cost and WAY less power consumption. Very happy with the outcome. If anyone is interested, I'll write up the details. DM or reply here.

Well, you should post details.. Also I believe this would be overkill or Plex or similar and if you are power sensitive but still a great setup.

Well that was fast! OK, here's a quick summary (you guys are a bad influence on my work ethic):

Motherboard CPU Combo: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/produ...UTF8&psc=1
I bought for $59 on Newegg, but they are now out of stock. They appear to have some similar items for a similar price. Now $89 on Amazon.

Case: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/produ...UTF8&psc=1
I bought the case from amazon warehouse on sale for $38. You can probably use anything you find on Newegg. I like that the power supply was included.

RAM: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/produ...UTF8&psc=1
I've been told you can get by with 2GB, but upgrading to 4GB or 8GB shouldn't be a problem. I ended up finding an old stick of 8GB that I used. $14 to $50

Extra: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/produ...UTF8&psc=1
Needed more connections for hard drives. $4

Of course this option does come with a 1TB hard drive already. i added several that have been on sale over the past month. So half the cost? Maybe not, especially with some of the increases since I built. But GREAT performance for my home PLEX setup. I intend to test the power consumption, but it should be less than half of the T30. Certainly better performance than any of the QNAP or other NAS box deals.

$59 + $38 + $50 + $4 = $151

PS: Don't mean to thread-jack. This is a solid deal if the T30 meets your needs. Happy to answer questions here or if someone recommends I can start a thread in another area...

No, this is not a site for better deals. Keep it to yourself know one would like a better deal.
