Excellent speaker, decent price.

Although it was as low as $40 brand new from BestBuy about a year ago.

Excellent speaker for the size. I have two that are linked and connected via Bluetooth to my echo dot.

I'm interested in 4 of these for a boat. How do you connect them? Bluetooth? Or, can I use a small plug from my phone to one, and connect the rest of them by wire somehow?

I guess I've got to figure out power supply. Any recommendations?

Hmmm. Looks like only two speakers from one source:

"Wireless Dual Sound Wirelessly connect two Harman Kardon Wireless Dual Sound enabled speakers to elevate your music listening experience."

Bought one a while back when BB had them for $80 or so. Not at all disappointed and for $40 I wouldn't hesitate if you need one.

$80 was for the bigger size onyx, this is onyx mini. There is a significant sound quality between the two.

Wonder if two mini's linked would sound better than the Onyx 4.

I was curious about that right up until I found out that the "dual sound" isn't stereo, it's just the same full mono signal out of two speakers (from their FAQ):

Quote :
Can wireless dual sound speakers be configured to play stereo, so one speaker plays the left speaker and the other right speaker?
unfortunately not, wireless dual sound, can only play the full signal, which contains both left and right channels in both speakers.

I realize this is the mini. I have a mini. I bought it about a year and a half ago. At the time, it was freshly marked down from the original (and absurd) original price ($150+ if I recall) and that was the cheapest I had seen it.

For indoors, I almost never use the bigger Onyx Studio. I rarely want more volume than the Mini has and I don't have any complaints about quality. For outdoors on the other hand, the Studio is worth it in my opinion.

Not a good price. I bought one near this price new. And they don't sound great. They do sound ok tho. Not bad. But not even worth it.

I got the same setup and I love it. Not true stereo sound connected that way but doesn't affect me for use with an echo

Yeah, great speaker. I use it on the daily from that BB deal. I bought two since you can sync them together.
