Amazon: I'm not getting promised coupons when I use Subscribe and Save

Hi everyone,

I wonder if you could help me with something.
I've noticed that I consistently am NOT getting credited for an Amazon Coupon when I check out using Subscribe and Save.

I check out fine, the page says I'll get the coupon.
Then when I pay (when the order is shipped on my S&S day), I do NOT get the coupon!

I've read somewhere on the Sdeals website that one should get the discounts on the FIRST order, and in fact, upon checkout it clearly states that I will be credited the coupon upon the first shipment.

It is POSSIBLE that the reason is that I "skip" the first month and push back the first shipment to the second month.

Anyone else notice this? I'd like to keep using the coupons, since Sdealers post some amazing deals using them.

If you pushed back the date far enough, it counts as a 2nd shipment and no coupon. 1st shipment is skipped. You have to check it before it ships out.

Yes, it's likely that you're skipping your first shipment. Your coupon should then be going away.

Why not just change the date of the shipment?

I've noticed that sometimes it's hard to see what you actually paid per item, when you do S&S and use coupons.

The only way I've found to see the real price you paid is to go to your order history, and view the order details or invoice to see whether the coupon applied.

The emails they send, and subscribe and save management page don't show the coupon details.
