Seems ok. Red pocket seems to have slightly more competitive plan depending on what you need. The 11$ plan with unlimited texting isn't bad.

It's the $5 plan (no data, 100 minutes, unlimited text) at 30% off.

We have plans from both Tello and Red Pocket. Customer service and app from Tello are awesome, but prices for the year plan on Red Pocket are great when on sale. Tello beats RP in that it allows hotspot and the app shows plan usage. Have to use a 3rd party app to track usage on RP.

Pay as you go is cheaper for an old flip-phone. 3 cents per minute and 1 cent per text. Good way to downsize or cure cell phone addiction.

Tello's amazing for a light use / emergency phone scenario as, unlike Ting or H2O, it doesn't have any line maintenance fees, top-up expiration and other cr*p. I still have several old phones on Tello PAYG and I particularly like that you can use data in PAYG mode as well with quite reasonable rates (okay for occasional emails / instant messages). For a slightly more intense use, you are already getting into Red Pocket territory and then into Mint territory...

I assume this is for new customers only? One thing I really like about Tello, for my kids, is that I can get them a certain data plan, but they'll blow thru the data in a couple days. After that, they are throttled for the rest of the month. So at least, they still have data, but they can't stream anymore. Life360 still works, so that keeps me happy.

It seems Speedtalk can use all networks like Redpocket, correct?
The Wikipedia VMNO [wikipedia.org] page shows it's just T-Mobile.

Also, I have the VZW locked Moto E4, and some say if using on Red Pocket, you wouldn't be able to roam. Would it be the same for Speedtalk?

I would like to know this too. But for myself. I'm a very light data user, but don't want it to just end at the cap, just to be able to check email, look up a phone number. etc.
Other than Tello, does Red Pocket, Speedtalk, Mint SIM, and Ting do this?

I don't know about the others, someone else here might be more knowledgeable on those.

yea, i have it on att. it's slightly cheaper on att and tmobile - if you have sprint or verizon, red pocket may be a little cheaper.

idk about the roaming
