Not an expert, but the last 9 reviews on Amazon are all 5 star, so it seems like whatever the issues are were fixed or we'd hear about it

All these routers are crap. Ever since I started using Ubiquiti routers and switches I never had any issues.
I have an R6700 that hasn't been rebooted in a year. Thing is flawless.

Looking at my Amazon history, I got a Warehouse Deal Like New X4s in November for $110 thinking I would upgrade from the R6700. Haven't even plugged it in yet.

I would also recommend against buying this router Frown

I bought this about 1.5 years ago from best buy around $200, tons of dropped signals, the latency is bouncy, the admin tools are buggy and don't refresh, and the bandwidth monitor is inaccurate. Take a look around google and people report the same issues!

ive had the r6700 for 4 years now and i've had to restart it maybe once because of an actual issue.

add the fact that the router was placed on A HEATER for all 4 years. that's right. in fact, i had went ahead and "upgraded" to a netgear x4s about two years ago, and it kept causing me problems and i returned it in a few days and went back to the r6700.

that is one reliable router.
