1080p with night vision, no service fee, good battery life, and seemingly good privacy terms but according to one YouTube review, the mount is not sturdy enough so it gives false positives in windy conditions, and no 2 way communication or built-in siren (separate module).

They did a survey recently where those first 2 cons were at the top. So I think I'll wait for next gen because I live in a windy location but still considering this deal..

I have two of these cameras in use, for almost a year now. One of them is mounted on a big oak tree in my back yard. I've never had a false positive for wind, but I'm not doubting others who say they have. You can modify the sensitivity of each camera individually to compensate for that if it's a problem. You can also get a push notification when footage has been recorded and you can live stream the video feed on demand.

This isn't billed as a security "system", just security "cameras" ,so the lack of a siren shouldn't be a consideration. There are ways to automate that with IFTTT and various home automation hubs like Smarthings/Google Home/Amazon Alexa etc. Blink DOES have a complete 24/7 security system coming, but it's not out yet.

I've been happy with my cameras so far, and the battery life is amazingly good. Having said that, my cameras are armed on 33% of the time, so there isn't a lot of battery drain going on during the normal course of the day.

Got in on the last deal direct from blink and absolutely no regrets. The system is super convenient. I'm thinking of picking up this 3 pack as well so I can just add the cameras to my current system. Certainly cheaper than buying them individually.

No monthly fee. I have a five camera system. I love it's ease of use and setup.

Your average battery life before you have to change them out?
