Is this really a good deal? I am looking at getting an S8. Not the + model. Tired of my ageing iPhone 6s at this time.

Not really a deal with the new phones very soon. Costco is usually a little slow in adjusting to the market. Still paying tax also

No, expect lower clearance prices over the next few weeks.

Understood. Thank you. My iPhone 6s is driving me crazy right now. But its the longest lasting phone I've had till date. So not much to complain.
I'm guessing once the S9 is out, there will be more features making the S9 more enticing to have unlike in the iPhone line... sorry don't mean to start an OS argument now.

For people who can't wait a few weeks, this is currently the best price on the S8+ without having to deal with any trades, new lines etc.

I'm barely hanging on with my Samsung S3...I'm holding out for the S8 but if there isn't a great deal soon, I may have to look at other phones. My phone is fine as long as I don't use it. A 1/2 hour browsing session or youtubing pretty much kills the battery.

"My phone is fine as long as I don't use it." I'll let that sink in.

The S3, as I recall, has a removable battery. Why don't you buy a new one?

This should come with $300 Cash Card minimum to attract some customers, otherwise, the deal through Shop Samsung app with trade in and gear headphones is way better deal IMO
