It works fine. What doesn't work fine is continuous writing i.e. Dashcams. Reading basically any card will work.

I agree. When the Evo Select dropped to 39.99 on Amazon, I saw this one was a couple bucks cheaper.

I think for gopro minimum I they recommend is extreme which uhs-1 speed class 3. This is U1. Samsung evo select on amazon would be better for for gopros I think...

Question is way too vague...

What GoPro? Hero 4? Hero 5? Hero 6?

What bitrate/frame rate? 1080@30fps? 4K@60fps?

Check with GoPro, I believe they list compatible/approved cards.

Or, I believe GoPro lists the bitrates for the various recording modes. Then see if this card supports those write speeds.

Probably does, but it can't hurt to check. I believe U1 = 10MB/sec.

The SanDisk specifically are not recommended for dash cam/go pro and other recorders. I've seen 2 dash cam manufacturers that said don't use the SanDisk bc their write speeds are too slow. The write advertised is peak. And it never averages near peak. It's average is much lower.

This would be good for use in an Amazon Fire tablet, since Samsung EVO+/Select cards can have issues when used in those devices.
