It looks like this doesn't have night vision so if your area isn't well illuminated, this can be an issue especially since it's 720p. And the subscription is almost a must because the free plan is only limited to 2hrs and 3 clips. That's an extra $60 per year or $120 for 4 devices. Compared to Ring which is $30 a yr and $100 for unlimited devices. You can get a Ring Doorbell 2 for $160 to $170 when it's on sale, but you'll have a better camera that's 1080p and save in the long run with the cheaper subscription.

I bought this light because my doorbell hardware is really old and doesn't provide enough power for doorbell cameras so I'd need to change some hardware. As a result this light was easier to get up and running. Night vision isn't really an issue since the light fixture itself illuminates the area at night which can turn on during certain hours or upon motion detection. Its also nice to have a.smart light on my porch as an added feature.

I'd pass! Saw the reviews on maximus cameras and they seem to have issues with night vision and sensor problems.
