STOP POSTING THIS. Stop spamming Slickdeals.

It is not on "sale" after coupon code. This is the normal price.

This same product was posted 4 times since 1/31. For $12 each time.

(1/31, 2/7, 2/16 and today)

And it has a fakespot rating of F (which means mostly fake reviews)

Seems like kind of a useless concept. Better to just use a much smaller and more portable battery pack. Makes plug extremely bulky. By combining 2 common products, they made both less convenient than their stand alone counterparts.

I'm sad I'm fully stocked on chargers / batteries, but this seems like an excellent option for travel.

Or instead of carrying a bank and a charger you just carry this?

Im buying one to use as my living room charger. Power goes out ill never have to worry if i remembered to charge the bank.

Also if i travel i jist take this and dont have to worry about having a bank as well as my charger.

What would make it excellent for travel? Curious to hear you view.

I travel very frequently for my job and do not see any situation where this would be useful. Every time I have ever used a battery pack, it has been because there is no outlet available. I do not see how a plug built into a battery pack makes it any more useful. Also, most the time I use a battery pack, I stick it in my pock with the phone. I use THIS [amazon.com] one and a short 4" USB-c cord. I pull it out of my laptop back, plug it into my phone and stick both in my pocket.
When an outlet is available, I use a good QC 3.0 charger, which this device doesnt do.

When would you ever need to carry both at the same time? They are used in very different situations. Due to the size, it is not convenient to carry like a small battery bank would be.

The only reason you are buying it is when power goes out in your home? How often do you have power outages? When you have an outage, why couldnt you use a regular battery bank? Sounds like a stretch of a reason.

It's something that provides convenience.

If you are on a plane, you have the convenience that if your phone battery is dying, you can plug in your battery. If it's a long flight and the battery begins dying, you can then plug the charger/battery into the airplanes outlet. Bonus that now your phone and the battery get charged simultaneously.

Additionally, if you get to the hotel late at night, you can charge your battery and phone simultaneously without the need of two outlets or carrying two cords.

Are having separate items better? Probably. But if you don't want to carry the extra item and like that there's only one to worry about (and probably just store permanently with that bag), then this seems like a good solution.

A lot of the deals here are no longer organic. It is either through self promotion/paid post like this one or deals slickdeals put together with the vendor. Slickdeals has no incentive to discourage these so call deals as it drive traffic and makes them money one way or another. Posting a daily deal from Amazon is not a deal imho.

Airplanes outlet? Do you actually travel?

Almost all decent chargers have 2 ports. It really isnt difficult to carry a second cord in your laptop or travel bag. Also you dont have to charge battery banks every night like a phone. They can easily provide several charges based on capacity. You charge a pack before your trip and its good for a while. If you travel frequently, it becomes second nature to check your charge before your trip.

This is a gimmicky device that solves a non-existent problem.

The person that posted this, TerryT4851, was very clearly paid by the seller to post this deal.

There has been a big change in the shill poster community, with many of the most prominent having disappeared from the boards. I believe this to be a direct result of actions by the community taken against these posters (reporting them and their posts).
SD will of course promote their deals, which is to be expected. This is allowed unfortunately part of the price we pay for using the site. I really wish they would control some of their junior staff who still post pure junk, but at least it's a small amount of the overall posts (as compared to the non-SD shill posters).
Fortunately, these regular users posting shill and spam deals seems to have been reduced a great deal, and so long as the community flags the shill deals that show up they can hopefully be kept at bay.
I've been really impressed by the quality of deals this past week or so (in comparison to the last weeks and months). But it's a continuous effort by the community, which is hopefully supported by the SD staff, to flag and act on those that missuse this forum to push their junk deals and paid shilling agenda.
