This is part of the Gold Box Deal Amazon is running today. It is USB 3.0 so I got it for my Xbox One S.

What is $40/1TB a deal? The "slick deal" price has been stuck at $60/2TB for the past 2-3 years now. Time for prices to drop.

This is a good price for 1tb external drives. per TB pricing usually drops as the number of TBs increases. It's just the way the industry goes.

Just a little slower. They are reliable little drives

WD is a trusted brand but look at the reviews for this, they are just fine

please advise me if I'm wrong, but if you select the 2tb for 62USD I find it super cheap.

For 1TB, this is really not a deal unless you need a HD now.

I had the 3TB version of this drive. It's slow but does what it's supposed to do. I dropped mine on a tiled floor back in October and lost years of data on it.
