I looked at this one when I was fleshing out all the zones for my chromecasts at home and it has really bad reviews in that respect. BT seemed mostly reliable from the reviews, but the WIFI reviews are not EDIT:Though someone backs this up later, I could not find the same reviews again. Sorry to prematurely poop the deal. This is a terrific price.

Thumbs up great prices....but I wish this was Official JBL refurbished from their site, those get a full year warranty not 90 days, and I know the official ones are immaculate.

A4C claims these are immaculate too, but I have no experience with them.

None of the professional reviews I saw mention faulty WiFi. If you have weak WiFi that could be an issue.

They do mention that they incorporate the full Google Home Experience...so basically a Google home with much better sound, and a battery (though battery life is not great).

I have 5 of the various Link series speakers in a multi room environment and have been very pleased with their performance, no WiFi issues whatsoever.

I don't believe that that they can be set up in a stereo mode.

In for 2x Link 20. Have been tempted by the Megaboom etc for a while -- this seems like interesting alternative. Thanks + repped.

I have both and I'll say I'm happy with them. Heavy Google assistant guy and love that I can pop one off and take it camping and still have the connection.

I have the 20. This is a great deal if you don't mind refurb.
The 20 sounds fantastic. Much better than I had expected. Battery life is decent for me. My only complaint is sometimes it doesn't boot up and connect, I have to turn it off and on again. Also, if you are playing music loudly, it can't hear you say "OK Google" but you can tap the button on the top then issue your command.

Also works as a Chromecast target.

I have the link 10 in my shower and love it. I haven't had any WiFi connectivity issues but I have strong WiFi in my house. Battery life could be better. But sound quality is great for the price and form factor.

I was thinking of returning my amazon tap for this. I wonder how the mic is. The tap's mic is not that good and sound sucks. It is sure nice to pick it up and go where ever I want with it. This one has an cord u have to plug in. There really isn't any rechargeable WiFi voice activated speakers that sound good yet. Soon enough the market will be flooded. Keep in mind the cord is an ugly red too.

I think it is orange actually. And, since its micro USB you can use any USB cable you have lying around

I have the JBL Link 300 and it's constantly loosing its WI-FI connection. I have to unplug it each time or reset from the app. However, this happens when I don't use it for days.
