How is this compared to the 4tb posted for same price on BH and Newegg? I don't need it to be portable but I read some crappy comments on the other post. Is this any more reliable?

Can't speak on how reliable this is, but this one has hardware encryption whereas the non-portable one does not.

I fear these bigger hard drives because the rate of failure is actually higher and combine that witg the more data that you lose...ehh

Pretty good deal, but I would go with the 4tb for $105 FS and no tax from B&H. Makes it slightly less $/TB

Strongly considered getting this for my X-Box One since mine only has 500GB and its almost full. Should pull this or wait for the 4TB? Hmm...

Had bad luck with my 2tb version looses connection way too easily the slightest vibration in the room and the thing just disconnects.
