I know it sucks, but glad the credit card company removed the charge (which they have to, by law, if the charge was fraudulent.)

Did you have them cancel your credit card? I would, if you gave the card number to this dubious website when you purchased the charger.

I pretty much stick with known stores. Heck, even then you have to be careful. There were some well-documented cases when Rakuten was either hacked or someone on the inside was using customer credit card numbers. I know this for a fact because that was the only place I had used this particular card, and it was paid off - until I saw a $2,200 charge the next month!
