I'm not sure if you should use a cheap receiver from eBay but I have this model along with my Samsung charger and it charges perfectly.

How is this a slick deal? Just inflated price with a discount. There are TONS all over Amazon with same specs for this price or less EVERYDAY.
And the people posting support of these deals seem to always be posting support to all the suspect and most likely shill posts. Coincidence?

I'm sure it works on a phone designed for fast charging, but I have a coil that charges my phone plugged into the USB port and it works with a regular wireless charger.

I wonder if it will charge any faster with this one.

No name crap with bogus reviews.

Only a sucker would buy this.

Here's a rule of thumb for the future.

If:

1) The item is sold by a third party and fulfilled by Amazon
2) The brand is obscure
3) The OP provides a mysterious savings code that he seemingly pulled out of the air

Then it's 99% certain to be a shill posting of crap. Pass.

It's to my understanding that the wireless fast charging is not as fast as the wired one. I have some of the older wireless fast chargers and this one is noticeably faster.

Agreed, my urlhasbeenblocked Fast Wireless Charger [amazon.com] charges my Samsung S7 Edge slower than directly wired. (I haven't measured it, but I would guess it's 30% slower.)

You own this particular model (RedHoney brand)?

If so, does it automatically shutdown when the phone is fully charged?

Yes I have this one and the LED turns green when the phone is full. I would imagine that it continues to charge since the phone stays at 100% until I take it off. I'm using a GN8 btw.
