Good deal but i'll pass because it doesn't specify the lid material.

Why go glass (heavy, easy to break, more cumbersome than plastic etc) if the plastic lid is gonna leach plastic chemicals into your food anyway?? Might as well stick with tupperware, 5x cheaper, more durable etc.

I do like the glass, because you can use them to reheat items in the microwave (or even the oven with some of them!) - plastic food containers will often be damaged by some acidic foods if you microwave them, despite being microwave safe.

But these particular containers I don't love because of their cheap, flimsy lids that tend to warp and don't seal well. I much prefer the lock 'n lock style lids that are much more air tight and substantial.

Are you sure the plastic lid is going to leach into your food? The idea is you don't reheat with the lid on. If for nothing else, you don't want the lid to deform and is no longer useful.

Yeah. the lock style feels substantially more secure. With this particular lid style, I would pass.

it depends on plastic/food type, heat, age etc but in general if the plastic touches the food its contaminated.

I guess you could not overstuff them and make sure he food doesnt touch the lids
