Open box from $33.**. I'd probably go open box if I wanted more of these.

I got in on the free speaker with purchase during the holidays (hence my cheapness on price). Sounds good, my Alexa connected right to it, holds bt connection well and switches between assistants easily.

With built-in Google Assistant, is this basically a Google Home Mini with alarm clock?

Yes, I think it does everything but phone calls. It can cast if you have the Chromecast streamers.
Personally I'm not big into Google, outside of using it on my phone, basically because I've had too many issues with connectivity.

I read the reviews and decided against buying it due to various usability flaws (hence the low price now). Not good to replace your regular alarm clock as the time is apparently lost if you lose Internet connectivity Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Glad you found that out, I only use mine as a speaker for Alexa.

I enjoy mine, bought an iron for someone for christmas, $25. Got this free. It is at least rather comparable to the full size home (I have 2). And a lot better sounding than the mini (which I returned within 30 days due to this sounding soo much better. I wish I had gotten like 4.

Got one 'free' with a waffle maker bundle a while back and it's sitting on my kitchen counter now. Overall a handy little device to get time, morning weather, news, and kids like to ask it to tell them a joke or story. Also use it to play music. Sound quality is decent but not as good as the official Google Home. Design is also a little cheap looking. Might keep an eye out for future bundle deals or just get a Google Home if quality is important.

Been living with a couple of these since the 'free with small appliance' promo before Xmas... honestly,
they're really good. Well made, maintain a solid wireless connection, and sound great (better than both the Google Home and Home Mini, if you ask me.

To me, the clock is the single feature that really makes them surpass the Home. We use them as our primary alarm clock. That said, if I need to get up to catch a flight, I'm going to set a secondary alarm just in case.

Just like everybody else here...I got one free with the purchase of some frying pans. Pretty decent bed-side clock. Added to my home group of two GHs, 3 Audios. 3 Chromecasts

The larger one is on sale for 59.99 on the deal of the day. 50.99 for open box. I have the smaller one and it's cool. I like it as a bedside table clock for quick time glance.
