This is an "okay" deal. I got this TV for $449 back in December and like it. However, don't expect too much from the HDR aspect as it's very "basic HDR" compared to higher end TVs. Plus, the smart features within it is lackluster. Outside of Netflix, Youtube, and Amazon Prime Video, you're not getting much. I would eye ones with Google or Roku built in.

You don't really need a smart TV when you already got a Apple TV stand alone box a Nvidia shield, fire TV ,TiVo, and roku

I purchased this TV the week before the super bowl for the same $429. I used points that I have been saving, so out the door with a 2 year plan just in case was a C Note!! I have the triple play, so the tuner is meaningless to me. Great picture with some minor adjusting. Easy set up and weighs about half as much as the LCD it replaced. I needed a tv with this type of base that would sit on my zvox surround sound. Highly recommend this TV!!

At this price range, TCL S series is the best, I found TCL S series is much better is picture (in 60 hz segment) compare to Samsung 6290 model also.

Note: I am no expert in configurations but I have had TCL and Samsung both in last 2 months, I eventually ended up with Sony 65 XBR850E.

Wish they had a 43" version of the X690E. The 43" X720E is an IPS panel, unfortunately.

I too bought this one at BB before the SB. Has anyone else experienced audio sync issues? I'm connecting thru a Sony receiver, and the picture is a fraction behind the audio. Very annoying. I'm sure there's something to tweak. Otherwise seems like a fine tv

I agree that this is an OK deal. I'd bite if this was $380.
