I wouldn't exactly consider these to be nuclear hot deals, but they are the best I've seen out there in a while for these G5S Plus phones.

Yes - I'm pretty much in the same boat. This is pretty much a deal if you need a phone today. If there's a G6 on the horizon, these prices could be the norm pretty soon.

I think g6 plus is only the same tier as the g5s plus based on the chipset. G6 ruomored 4xx SD chip 😭

I don't think that this is a good deal.
Fry's had the G5 Plus for $180(32GB) and $220(64GB).

The only difference I can find is between the models is that the G5S has a bigger screen and dual cameras.

Addition differences:

The 32GB G5S+ has 3GB RAM, the 32GB G5+ has only 2GB of RAM.
The G5S+ has an aluminum body whereas the G5+ was primarily plastic.

Some people just need something to complain about. It's a better price than anyone else has if you want one of those phones. Sorry it's not the Galaxy S9 or the iPhone X.

This is a good deal. I have this phone. Switched from a Samsung S7 and couldn't be happier. It pretty much runs pure android with no bloatware, making it incredibly fast and responsive. I get over 2 days of battery with fairly heavy use as well. Only concern will be how well Lenovo does on software updates. The Oreo update is supposedly being released for this phone soon, but I haven't seen it yet. If you need a phone, I would definitely recommend this one.

And yes, Motorola's naming convention for their phones is confusing, but the G5S+ is different (and significantly superior) to the plain G5 or G5+.

Do you have the 64GB/4GB RAM or 32GB/3GB RAM version? I have the S7 Edge that I'm about to throw out of a moving car, and I'm wondering if the extra 1GB RAM is noticeable.

I'm also toying with an X4 directly from Google/Project Fi.

I have the 32/3 and swapped my 32gb sd card into it and have had no issues with speed, lag or freezing like my S7 did. I am starting to think Samsung software is a big part of the problems I have had with my Galaxys over the years.

Is this the lowest price the 64GB Moto G5S+ has been? I can't remember a lower price.

Also, seeing as how the code is from the 02/26/2018 newsletter, is the code only active today?

Thank you,
Tofu Vic

Fry's requires you to sign up on their mailing list to get the one time use code.

I had a Sprint S7 Edge and had no troubles until I swapped to a Verizon of the same model phone. I think you're on the right track, but I'm thinking it's the baked-in carrier stuff.
