My first deal post. I'm guessing I screwed something up, what with the two downvotes. Any help, so I can post better deals or no deals, and not waste anyone's time?

You didn't do anything wrong, they probably down voted because there is another pixel deal at Target right now that lands $300 off and $300 gift card

I'm sure you're right. My phones from the 2/16 BestBuy promo got returned in favor of the Target deal. That said, I think the Target deal ended yesterday.

If so, this is the best deal right now for this phone. Also, the credits for this deal show up 2-3 billing cycles earlier. Given the deep doubts of people (iwheela is a prominent example) who are even going so far as to return the Target phones, or not have bought them in the first place, this deal has a different appeal.

Thanks for the explanation.

The $300 gift card deal ended yesterday at Target. Now they are only offering $300 in bill credits

It's a bad deal because it's monthly credits. No one wants carrier credits. We want instant savings.

Unless it is $450, it probably isnt a factor for most people considering this deal.

They will down vote you because the deal does not fit their "liking"... There may have been better deals before but maybe who knows this is a good deal for some other people with different situations. I don't like bill credits either but I won't down vote this just because it doesn't fit my liking.

I can't understand you people who would say "it's a bad deal, no one wants bill credits". There are people who for whatever reason needs to have Verizon in case you do not know.

This is their second year with Verizon. You worried Google will ran out of cash pretty soon?

I have to applaud the carriers. They've managed to bring back two year contracts in the guise of "deals."
