Been looking at purchasing a portable projector and at this price figured I would try it out. Lowest price this has ever been.

i put it through its paces only a bit since christmas, but the biggest (which is pretty well understood) is the environment requirements. It's not the brightest, but for what it is, its incredibly handy, and very very happy wiht my purchase, and considering another one for a gift later this year.. the case is expensive for it though, at 40 bucks not sure its worth it, waiting for it to drop.

Cool beans. Biggest factor for me is its portability. Not too worried about how bright it is as it will mostly be used in a dark room.

I got it from the Kickstarter too. I love that it runs it's own Android OS but have found that I don't really use it. In fact, I don't think I have used it in a real life situation yet.

Ya its really small, would get the Anker Powercore 3 so you don't have to have it plugged in the wall or run out of battery. Agree with the dark room comment too, the speakers surprised me.. pretty good

I have two of the Anker/Nebula projectors... the capsule is amazing. I am a big fan of it, it works pretty dang good. Not super bright, but sound and apps arent bad. Actually sound is great for its size. Auto keystone but manual focus.

The other one is the Nebula Mars lite, its bigger, brighter, better speakers... but the lite doesnt have the apps. They are all over ebay for about $250, got mine at walmart for $250. It will be ideal plugged in for pool/backyard gatherings. This one has powered USB so its super easy to have a fire stick plugged into the back. Auto focus and auto keystone is included.

There is another one that has apps and jbl speakers but is about $700.

So what's the difference between the Mars Lite and the regular Mars? I initially wanted to get the Mars but the price was a bit much and it was only running Android 4.4

854x480 resolution. I don't follow this niche market super closely, but aren't there small LED lit projectors that do 1280x720 in this pricerange? (Albeit without Android, if that's important for whatever reason.) Is the battery source the big draw here?

JBL speakers and it running android for apps (not worth the price.) Get the lite and add a smart device of your choice... Ive used a firestick powered by the usb built in to the projector with no issues. been great for movies and presentations. Brighter if plugged in to power, but 2 hours off of internal battery.

Its size, battery and sound. Other picos sound like crap and have terrible color and sound. This thing is the size of a coke can, sounds good, runs a few apps, and has 2+ hours battery life. Not the solution for a home theater, but great for mobile presentations and impromptu movies/games.

I wish I knew about MARS lite, I bought the MARS and the apps on it sucked. I ended up plugged in a fire stick or chromcast on it anyway.
