Haven't bought from them before, but I've seen a few deals here that were sold by them.
I would've gone with the MS Store $749.99 deal for the identical laptop (previous lowest price), but I missed out (plus they charge me tax in NY).
You can get this laptop for a few bucks off by buying a $500 and $250 eBay GC from RetailMeNot [retailmenot.com] for $490 and $245 respectively.

Brought my total (out of pocket) down to $705 (you'll have $30.01 eBay GC leftover for future use of course).

Specs:
  • Intel Core i5-8250U Processor (8th Gen)
  • 13.3" 1920x1080P FHD AG IPS Infinity Edge Touch Display
  • 8GB LPDDR3 1866MHz Ram
  • 128GB Solid State Drive
  • Intel UHD 620 Graphics
  • 2x USB 3.0
  • 1x USB 3.1 Type-C /w Thunderbolt 3
  • 720P HD Webcam
  • Backlit Keyboard
  • Killer 1535 802.11ac 2x2 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.1
  • 60 WHr Li-Ion Battery
  • 2.9 lbs
  • Windows 10 Home (64 Bit)
*UPDATE: SOLD OUT*

That deal was refurb and no touchscreen. This listing is for brand new. And Dell charges tax. And that deal is over. But sure, whatever.

Guess you guys also forgot how popular this deal was for $749.99 for the same laptop.

Didn't point it out because you're still comparing a refurb, non-touchless variant at a higher price with tax on top. The i7 model had touchscreen only with the 4K display.

Dell Outlet's variants only have the i5 8250U with the 1080p touchscreen, while the bump to the i7 model had to be paired with the 4K screen to have touch. And that was significantly more than $800 with the 20% off.

Btw, the deal just sold out within 2 hours so that's your business if you don't think it's hot. Others seem to feel differently.

tax for me otherwise nice price. If I didn't get hit with tax I'd watch this for the next ebay bucks promo to make it pretty slick

Thanks for the reasonable response. How did you manage to get it for $600 if I may ask? The Dell Outlet deals for me always have the model at $822 before the 20% off coupon. After the coupon it comes out to be $657.60 + tax (= $715 for me in NY). I've seen cashback for Dell Outlet ranging from 2-8%. That's why even with cashback I thought this deal was comparable for being brand new, and it's the lowest non-refurb price I've seen for this model.

if you can do with 8GB ram, it's not so bad. but forget it if you ever think about upgrading ram as the ram is soldiered in.

So crappy they all do that nowadays with their ultraportable.... all memory soldered in and forces us to pay off the roof for the 16GB upgrade ver.....
