For those who don't have an m.2 slot and still want to get this drive, you can buy an adapter or an enclosure such as this one:

2.5" SATA Enclosure [amazon.com]

Good deal if you're in the market for SSD with M.2 port. Just a reminder: this is not NVMe type

You can't go wrong with Intel SSD but it is a bit expensive for the capacity.

Really? An adata with a three year warranty and similar write speeds is $80 for 256gb - this is a five year warranty and $72 for 360gb. Seems like a pretty decent deal to me.

Bit on this myself; my XPS 15 has windows installed on a 32gb m.2. It's pathetic. I can't even install updates because it's out of room. Seems better than the $80-100 I was about to spend for 100 fewer GB.

its not, this is 20cents a gig which is a very good price for an ssd, particularly from a well regarded brand.

edit: it should be noted that this is a sata protocol m.2 drive, that means that while this is shaped like an nvme m.2 drive it is limited to the same speed as a regular 2.5" sata drive. you can look here https://ark.intel.com/products/94...s-16nm-TLC for more info.

That's what I was thinking, but if someone knows of a better deal, would like to know. M.2 drives are not the cheapest option, at least in my experience. I want at least 2 of these to use in a RAID/Spanned implementation.

I know the interface, as I have used these in current machines I have. I was speaking on the commenter stating that the price is a bit expensive for the capacity.
