Got this from Amazon last month on sale for $133. For $133, I wasn't expecting much, however this unit does a very good job keeping my first floor clean. It gets snagged up in my bathroom mats so I keep my bathroom door closed when it runs, but otherwise does a good job.

I'm glad I bought it and really helps me keep on top of keeping my house clean.

This is funny for me, the first product I ever bought on woot (about 10 years ago) was a refurbished iRobot 550 (I think). I paid $150, the thing died about a couple years ago and I have been meaning to get a new robot. I am a bit out of the loop with these things, but I keep seeing new brands and features. Can someone just tell me if this is a good deal/product?
Was tempted to get the Xiomy one a few months back, but I read that there is little customer support in the states, either way, I am open to recommendation. Its just for small house with wood floors and a couple rugs, nothing to complicated.

I just started using this same vacuum recently. It doesn't have bluetooth or wifi, but it does come with a remote to setup a schedule. Based on the layout of my home, I have to run it four different times (3 levels, with a sunken family room) in order to cover the whole house. It did get stuck a couple times, but it has found its way back to charger in most cases. Each time it has been run, it has picked up a surprising amount. Right now I run it while at work and when I get home at night I clean out the bin and move it to a new location for the next day. In just a few days, it appears to have picked up the equivalent of the full bagless container in our traditional vacuum cleaner.

So I can't speak to the longevity of the product, but I am very happy with the immediate results.

If you have one giant undisturbed first floor, will it run around forever or can you buy those virtual gates? Also is the battery eventually going to die and need full replacement of the unit itself?

I got this vacuum from the Newegg sale and I love it. We run it when we leave the house and it has always found it's way to its base. Except one time it sucked up a lightweight floor mat we had down. It also even manages to suck up an aa battery. Couldn't believe it have to power to pick that up. So far I am happy with my purchase. Also my floor plan is tile, hardwood, area rugs, and some big transition areas and the vacuum has no problem on any of them.

Bought it off Gearbest a year ago for 110, great robot vacuum. It doesn't map rooms or anything like that, just bumps around. Great to just have it run while you're at work. Just make sure any cables/wires are tucked away. Won't do well on high pile rugs or tassles though since it has a roller. Most of my place is wood or tile.

Works well, but does not always get the stuff into the hopper. Not sure why it gets hung up outside of the hopper, but it still picks up a ton, runs long and finally docks itself when the battery is low. That took a while.

It will come bk to the charging station when the battery is low. You do not require any gates or anything. It got sensors. So far its been a good for 140 bucks..dont knw the future of the battery

These things are workhorses. Biggest cons: gets stuck easily. Has hard time on thick rug. Takes a while to find home.
