One of the best chairs for back support. Just to note that there is no returns and no warranty given it's an open box deal.

Some of you may also have 10% Ebay Bucks so check your account.

You can probably find this cheaper if you're in a good CL area, can try all the sizes too.

Where do you see parts available? Herman Miller hoards their replacement parts like no one else, and used parts on ebay seem far and few in between.

It's been awhile but i recall parts while not cheap available at several online places and also seemed relatively available off ebay. But all i've changed on mine is the cylinder and just switched caster styles depending on flooring a few times. But i recall searching several times and didn't have any problem finding parts (though no idea about pricing, it's been awhile). cylinders and casters, etc are readily available.

Only downside to the chair si what everone knows, likes to pinch clothes and make dust bunnies but it's cool in hot climates and lasts. if you like strong back support though may want the lumbar piece, i always found that a bit odd i can't remember i got rid of that a long time ago, it liked to shift here and there iirc, i just use a pillow.

Isn't the whole benefit of these chairs the warranty?

Can't say mine were used 12 years ago by 6 years or so iirc mine were 99's or 2000's dotcom goodness, but they're just built better. no loose crap after 1-2 years. Mine feels like they always have, lean like they always have, and they're close to what 18 years old i use them every day all day except for a few years here and there. I'm pretty sure based on past history i'd have gone through 5-10 or more of the cheap ones by now. I'm sure there are different grades of chairs now but the cheap one's i see in every office are just a flexible piece of metal for the back lean and they're all rickety after a couple of years and leaning is borked.

Anyways lots more chair options these days i'd guess, i haven't had to bother looking at that stuff since i got these long ago. Had a steelcase leap for a bit but didn't like it for florida, felt like my @!!@ was always sweating and that i was always sliding off it.
