Wondering the same myself. I guess you could theoretically charge a 2000 MAH battery 10 times for this to be dead

That's usually how I measure it.

You can use a current meter to measure. That would be the most accurate.

I just wonder how long it takes from 20k to 8k?

One buyer review:

"Furthermore, I measured the total capacity of the power bank at 10,838mAh, so actually **over** the stated capacity", and then

"The power bank has since performed flawlessly."

On the opposite, the top review of this product, from an "Amazon TOP 100 REVIEWER":

"My multimeter confirmed there are 20,000 mAh cells in this battery pack."

How long does this take to charge? And could this charge a laptop with a smaller battery?

Use something like this to test a power bank capacity: https://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-Amme...1606177993 or https://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-USB-...2872277423

1. Charge the bank to full capacity.
2. Connect the meter to the bank.
3. Connect any device to be charged to the meter.
4. Repeat step 3 with another device until power bank is depleted
5. Read the mAh number from the meter's screen!

It is also helpful to check any USB charger (voltage and current) as well as USB cords (some are too thin to charge at max current, becoming a "weak link" between a powerful charger and a hungry device).

PS I have both meters linked above and can recommend both; no need to spend lots of money if you can wait a few weeks for this to be delivered from China. If not, similar devices are available from Amazon for $10+ with Prime shipping.

Would this be over the FAA carry-on limit on powerbanks? I thought the limit was below 20k?

Caution looks like it does NOT support the fast charge features - the max power output is 10W and max current is 2A

If I recall correctly all of your batteries should be below 100Wh
