This is one of Linksys better routers and that is not saying much. Uses the same cpu as the Asus ac5300. This router showed issues with down throughput on multiple tests when it was tested at smallnetbuilder and best to my knowledge has never been fixed. When this was launched it was over $100 less than the AC5300 so it was worth getting, but since now the AC5300 is around $250 and under on sale I would rather wait for that. This also has no openvpn support for those who need it.

Review from those want it.

If you're gonna spend this much on a router, why not just get an AD router for not much more?

Please note that you have to first add the Router to your cart then go to Checkout. After that enter the coupon to have the Range Extender automatically added.

Range extender is this one: https://www.linksys.com/us/p/RE6500/

Awesome. Just read a little about the ax standard and it seems great. Might have to hold out til later this year for a new router.
