I moved all my domains from GoDaddy to NameSilo.

Got tired of wading thru a swamp to get what I wanted.

Rep'd for NameSilo recommendation. Currently with NameCheap, NameSilo cost less and free privacy is plus. Thanks

They don't give a year extension and privacy is free for only one year. I am going to move from godaddy to namesilo

Transfer from where? I don't have a domain. Would this work for new domains bought on namescheap?

Why would you need to transfer to namescheap if you purchased it from namescheap?? Confused

I think the question was, "Does namescheap allow you to purchase a domain name?" A quick search by the poster would have answered their own question. That answer is yes.

Used so many of these over the years. One.com is the best if you just need basic hosting. All the rest are dead cheap during the first year, then goes 5X up.

WhoisGuard/privacy is only included free for 1 year with Namecheap.

I would recommend going with Namesilo too, good prices without the need for hunting for renewal coupons or waiting for promotions. New accounts can use a coupon code like "buckoffdomain" to get a dollar off. Lifetime privacy is included as well.

I'm planning to move away from Namecheap at the moment. The company and customer service is great but I would not like to pay for a HTTPS cert and they don't let you use Let's Encrypt

Namesilo has the same price every year pretty much and free privacy. No frills but it works.
